WHAT DO WE Do?
📋 Athlete Check-In Form (Required)
To help us keep every athlete accounted for, all student-athletes must complete a short check-in form before leaving for a storm.
This form will collect basic, essential information:
-
Travel destination and emergency contact
-
Estimated return date
-
Current health or special needs (if any)
Your safety is our responsibility — and this form ensures we know where you are during and after the storm.
🌀 Safety Comes First at Florida Central Tech
When the Weather Turns, We Put Our Athletes First.

At Florida Central Tech, the well-being of our student-athletes is our top priority — on and off the field.

As part of our Severe Weather Safety Policy, we want students and their families to know:

-
When a major storm or hurricane is approaching, student-athletes are strongly encouraged to return homebefore the storm reaches our area.
-
Our staff will notify students promptly with guidance and assistance so they can travel safely and avoid dangerous weather.
-
If a student lives out of state, we ask families to monitor official updates from the school and wait for the all-clear before returning.
-
We are fully committed to safety and communication, and we do not take weather risks lightly.

🌟 After the Storm: We Step Up for Our Community
Once the storm passes and it is safe to return, our athletes and staff will also be working together to help clean up and support our local community.
We believe in giving back — and standing strong with the people of Florida.
📢 Stay informed. Stay prepared. Stay safe.
We’ll weather the storm — together.
